What are Access Controls?

Since Confido enables the full cycle management of trade, deductions, and forecasting, we create collaboration across your entire team. Sales team is using the trade and forecasting modules, the accounting team is using cash application, finance team is using reporting, and executives are viewing net sales reporting and account planners.

However, brands don't need their sales team to have access to cash application, and they don't need the accounting team having access to the promotion planner. Creating these module-based controls is essential so that each team member only sees the portion of the tool that they're trained to use.

Confido's Access Controls allows admins to manage access to modules across their entire team, so everyone is able to collaborate on Confido in their domain expertise.

How to Use Access Controls

Navigate into Team Permissions, where you can configure the following:

  • Admin - does this team member have admin control?
  • GL Access - is this team member able to push checks into the GL?
  • Department - which department is this team member in?
  • Manager - who is their manager, if any?
  • Modules - which modules will this team member have access to?
